As my summer vacation is winding down, I am very distracted as I am diligently trying to accomplish a wide variety of things. (Sew curtains for my son’s room, gardening, spray paint patio table, finish organizing daughter’s bedroom, organize kitchen cabinets, sew for my new endeavor, and making summer memories)
So why not add one more distraction to my day? Welcome Mr. All Natural Peanut Butter.
Typically we are not all-natural team member, as much as we should be, but we caught a sale and I thought “Hey, we can afford it so lets give it a try”. From the moment we realized it needed to be stirred and then refrigerated, it was met with many frowns. Not wanting it to go to waste, I decided to disguise this product into a sweet treat! Sneaky aren’t I? I went online and found the first recipe (allrecipes.com) I came across and used it to make homemade peanut butter cookies. Actually, it baked better than regular peanut butter and my kid’s frowns turned into a smile.
What was in the refrigerator for a month unwanted turned into a feeding frenzy!
Stay Distracted,
Natalie
